I'm closing this thread which had degenerated in so many ways while I was at the NAB in New York.

P.S. Race Taylor and all the rest of the major market mainstream format jocks don't pick and schedule the music and I'm getting horribly sick of the incessant posts about how jocks and stations select music.

No more, please!

Yep early 2000s. I mean mostly 80s and 90s. Some brand themselves as 70s 80s and 90s though they focus more on the 80s and 90s and still have a small amount of early 2K songs in there particularly the IHeartMedia stations.

Stations really don't "focus" on anything. They research against their target demos, and play the music that tests with that group.
