Dabl to change Focus

Dabl is changing their entire network starting next Friday December 29, 2023. So far there isn't any word if the network will change its name.

The network will mostly air UPN/WB/The CW sitcoms like One on One, The Parkers, Moesha and Sister, Sister.

My cord-cutter mom won't be happy with this. She enjoyed the cooking shows on that network (Jamie Oliver was one of them). I guess there's always the Create channel via PBS.

The new schedule is like a BET or MTV2 with only about 6 shows and showing the same one over and over.

There's Me-TV, Antenna TV, Rewind TV, Catchy Comedy and Laff for comedies. I don't see this channel lasting to long with the new switch in programming.

Another comedy network. Just what we DO NOT need. Dabl needs to stick to its roots of being a Martha Stewart style Home & Gardening channel IMO

Great move. A lot of the former UPN shows that are not on streaming. good chance to actually get viewership on DT2 that they wouldn’t get showing reruns of Mash and Matlock
Yeah, but will they show "Homeboys in Outer Space" and "Shasta McNasty"? ;) Cleo-TV (owned by Urban One) currently shows many of the sitcoms the reimagined DABL will be offering.

Last I knew Dabl was also carried on the Pluto TV app
That got dropped with the change

Dabl is still on WLLA DT6 since WOTV DT2 carry Dabl as well before it became new the new home of The CW on Monday around 3:35AM they took Dabl off was green fizz then was just a black screen until TMZ Live repeat from Fri was put on. I thought that they wouldn't get it on the air until about 8AM. About a month ago Charter Spectrum put WOTV DT2 on channel 6 been on channel 192 for about 9 years still there as well.

Dabl is nothing but a racist comedic version of BET now. It was a decent enjoyable network that all could enjoy and now it has been destroyed because of some narrow minded racists.
Nice first post. Nobody's being racist in this situation. A comedy channel targeting a young, urban, black audience is much more attractive to advertisers that one that caters to older suburbanites of any race or ethniciy. And the series being offered on the "new" Dabl aren't viewed exclusively by blacks.
