Of course, all of these are dreadful technical facilities, and in any single location only a couple are listenable.

Yes, a lot of the music comes from the Golden Age of Mexican Film, such as Pedro Infante's songs; Pedro died in an airplane crash in 1957 so his music is from the later 40's and earlier 50's. But among the culture, much younger people "inherited" the music from older family members and passed it on. }

As a teenager in Mexico City, I recall going to the movies and seeing a "double" of Infante movies and hearing his songs... and that was 7 years after his death and whole families went to those movies, keeping the tradition alive.
I wonder how many will inherit the music of the great Vicente Fernandez...

Don’t forget KFSD AM 1450 Escondido. They are broadcasting a Spanish Catholic format 24/7.

Visión Latina Radio is basically an Hispanic version of Rede Aleluia, a Brazilian network spanning a multitude of affiliates in that country.
However, if they do carry secular programming still, then it would be more similar to Radio Buenos Aires, an Argentinian station which is roughly 50% Universal CHurch preaching and 50% news and secular entertainment and music.

That station is a relatively low power 20 kw day and 5 kw night) high dial position station at 1350. It only covers about 20% of the market at all well. 100 kw is the power for the top AMs in that market, two of which are news talk with top 5 market ratings.

Oh totally. I've heard Radio Buenos Aires' offerings and despite constantly trying to engange their audience to call them they barely get one, two calls tops on their music request shows.

That would be in part because of the large number... over 200... full market, zone and neighborhood FMs in the Buenos Aires metro area.

As a sidebar, one Buenos Aires FM back in the earlier part of the 21st Century had the largest cume and AQH audience of any station in The Americas... having over a 20 share and a cume around 5 million. That one was Mega 98.3, which plays only local Argentine rock under the slogan of "puro rock nacional".

Plus translators for KMRQ like K211DK 90.1 here in Santa Ana

I’ve always wondered if ranchera, or regional Mexican, or how any Spanish language formats bill well in L.A., compared to other formats in the market?
Ranchera is only on 980 AM, and it is well below 38th in market revenue.

KSCA, KLAX and KBUE are all regional Mexican and bill in the $11 t0 $12 million range, adn are all approximately 15th in revenue. KLVE isi a 3-way tie for 5th in billing, around $20 million. The two reggaeton stations bill around $8 million on limited expenses.

Universal Church should of start buying Full-Power Television Station KJLA-TV 57.1 from Costa de Oro Television, LLC since Walter Ulloa passed away last Saturday December 31st, 2022 he was the owner of Costa de Oro Television and since this the West Coast Flagship Station of Visión Latina that's my suggestions
