The ABC 2023-2024 season Thread

Wonder why they won't move GH to 2 since most of the stations in the midwest moved GH to 1 when they cancelled that one show that was between the chew and gh can't remember what that was. Also if the east coast airs GH at 3 then do they have different feeds since they can show the show at 1 in the Midwest instead of 2.

At one point they did have it at 2 with a talk show at 3, then the news. It would seem reasonable they felt it worked better in the "traditional" 3 pm slot in those markets. With GMA3 now at 1, a show like Tamron can fit well coming out of it. Could she work leading into the news? Sure. But somewhere you're going to stick the soap, so if you get more traction at 3, knock yourself out and do it at 3.
 
GH used to have a big after school audience. Not sure if that is still the case but moving it to 2 pm loses the after school audience (if watching it live).

I wish American Idol would start up in Jan when it was on Fox for over a decade seems that they rush the season since ABC took over in my opinion.

9:30 is still open. They haven’t announced what will air in that slot beginning 2/14.
