99.7 was WSPI prior to Clear Channel' purchase of the station. If I remember correctly, they were running a satellite fed Soft AC format (possibly Jones Radio Network).

Prior to the WSPI calls (when WSPI as at 95.3), and I suspect shortly after the station went on the air, it had simulcast WISL-AM. Somewhere I have a tape of WISL morning man Tom Kutza mentioning that they were also on FM and ID'd the 99.7 frequency.

Thanks! Sorry I double posted it in NEPA I wasn't sure where it fit. Central PA I thought was State College.
