I do see a decent number I wouldn't say a bunch . But there definitely is still a market for CHR . I define anything above 2.0 as sustainable and 3.0 good but everyone's definition is different .

I don't think all that. They went the Hot AC route first because it pairs with their other stations . But when this fails like all the other times . They will probably go classic hip hop, as they can cut into some of WDAS cash. It worked in Chicago with WVAZ it can work in Philly .

The station will be fine. Classic hip hop flopped in Philly

It pairs with the other stations—that’s the entire point that distinguishes it from “all the other times.”

I prefer the music mix to WNEW in NYC or most other Audacy Hot AC’s. They have a nice gold library, a nice change from almost-CHR sounding Hot AC’s these days.

In many markets Hot AC has become a stronger format than CHR
