WKMG to air The Weekly with Justin Warmoth

This show will air on the WKMG Website/app. Its a public affairs show thats going to be on the app.


WKMG-Channel 6 will showcase its website, ClickOrlando.com, and headline-making stories in a series premiering this weekend.

“The Weekly” airs at 8 a.m. Sundays and replaces “Flashpoint.”

The new show’s full title is “The Weekly on ClickOrlando.com with Justin Warmoth.”

Morning anchor Warmoth will take a deeper look at community issues through the half-hour series.
The premiere previews the federal trial of Noor Salman, widow of the Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen.

The first episode draws on News 6 legal expert Mark O'Mara as well as reporters Mike DeForest and Erik Sandoval.

DeForest and O’Mara explore jury selection, which starts March 1, and how Salman's lawyers will portray their client.

Sandoval discusses his recent interview with Christine Leinonen. Her son, Drew, was among the 49 killed in the Pulse massacre.

“The Weekly” also calls attention to WKMG’s online journalism. For the Salman trial, WKMG will offer a team of four legal experts, including O’Mara.
