I read on the other board that the Wiseman has exited WHLI. He has been there a LONG time, I didnt always like his on air persona, but have met him a few times and was a nice guy. 20 years in one company especially that one and the mess before it is a good run! Good Luck on the next phrase if there is one.

They have some syndicated things that they're running, but my understanding is that they are basically voice-tracked. Sad thing to hear about, unfortunately, it's part of the trend these days.....
The Wiseman is the new morning host on Suffolk County's Oldies Station Oldies 98 FM. It's the translator for WPTY-HD2.

I have a feeling Connoisseur is looking for a buyer to take WHLI off its hands. Long Island will likely wind up with another religious or ethnic AM station before long.
