Whyl

I drove through the Harrisburg area last weekend and heard a weak signal on 960 carrying a sports game in the afternoon. Maybe it was WHYL or maybe winter propagation, not sure.

is 960 stilll airing WIOO & using low power on 960? any idea when oldies willl be on 960 with full power ?

WHYL 960 was going to air oldies. Now seems to be off the air .
What's up?

the question remains-------------- what happened to oldies--- due to be on 960 ?
Anytime soon ?

The latest FCC application has them moving to the WCAT-FM tower running 1,300 watt days/27 watt nights. When that's up and running it will certainly be a signal boost from the temporary low-power longwire off the studio. Maybe the oldies will be back once that's up since then people can, you know, hear it.

Has WHYL run into FCC problems or technical problems?
Or, $$$ problems?
