Yes, I agree. But what would be worse is for them not to make a change, and Padres throws everything out of whack. Here's its easier for them to leave Ted in Place, he can do his show and then the play by play as a piggy back. I think Ted's a big draw for the station, because You either love him or hate him. But it keeps them on the map. Otherwise, people will have to run around and search for their shows.
My point is, no matter what, the schedule would have been mixed around anyway, so it's better for them to take control ahead of time.
