WGUL...Bye bye... buy bonds...

Aw hell. I have a connection with that station because in 1996 my father and I came to Tampa Bay where my father, Cliff Shell was Operations Manager at WGUL AM & FM, and I went to work over at Warm 94.9 FM for evenings. Regardless, I wish the staff of 860 WGUL all the best. I got to know those guys rather well, and they are some incredible broadcasters, and REALLY nice guys. Les Foerester and Denny Bateman especially. Good luck to you all. I got very sad as I heard the MP3 of the sign-off just now.

Peace,
