She was let go before her contract was up.I saw on another site that the issue in both cases is that the station wanted to control the "brands" of both shows. Not sure exactly what that means, but I'd guess that they didn't want either show to be able to create their own syndication deals, either regionally or on a larger scale (so in hindsight, Bell was not fired).
