We live in a world of "i"

Hi

We seem to live in a world full of "i"s - icom, iMac, iPOD, iBOC..

What's next..radio stations calling themselves "iFM" or "I-AM (therefore iAM) 1500 on your dial".

that's my humour for the day :)

Cheers

Paxson Communications doesn't own any radio stations anymore, so probably not. It would've made a better name for a Podcast-format station than "K-You", though. Maybe Infinity will use it if they ever put one of those in the East, since "W-You" would sound really stupid.

ICOM? Ugh! Please bring back the PCR-1000! I want one so bad, unless they have a similar type of unit with DRM capacity in the works or something, then I'll wait for that. (Yes, I know I could eBay, but that's against my religion)

What annoys me about Icom is they stop making the receiver accessories as soon as the unit's go out of production. I'd like to get the PC contol module & the TVR-7100 for my Icom R-7100. Getting one 2nd hand is rare as hen's teeth.
