WBYN-AM Simulcast

Anyone else heard the rumor that WBYN-AM Lehighton and WCHR-AM Flemington are going to be simulcasting? I've heard that now from a couple of people.

They are both Nassau stations. When WBYN-FM was flipped, they were being identified as "sister" stations. Based on their web pages, they do not seem to be simulcasting. (see the Lehigh Valley/Reading board) Nobody seems to be able to actually get them unless they live next to the transmitter.

WCHR puts out a good daytime signal, I can pick them up fine in Bucks & Montgomery counties. (Not that I'm listening but just seeing how far they go.)
WBYN is washed out here by WOBM, WVNJ and other general clutter, but it does well in parts of the western Lehigh Valley, Berks, Carbon, Monore and even Lancaster counties - I used to listen when it was country WYNS.

They keep saying "sisters" but seem to imply the programming is the same. In fact WCHR is an older-skewing preaching-teaching-hymns station, WBYN is Praise music with preaching-teaching. It doesn't seem to be that they'll simulcast, maybe just share some more programs. If people in the Philadelphia region want WBYN they'll have to listen on-line only.
