WAY-FM pulls back in Louisville

WAY-FM has sold WAYI/Charlestown, IN to Radio Multimedia, Inc., who has flipped the station to Urban as "104.3 The Beat" with the calls WWPW. WAY-FM remains on WRVI, formerly Salem's Christian AC "105.9 The River". Find more discussion on the Kentucky board.

Way really did not need 104.3 once they bought 105.9.. Selling it help them to shore up needs in Denver.. Their major FM there did not have marketable coverage from central Denver, south.. The purchase of KKHI puts them from the Wyoming plain down the South Platte basin, along the ridge.. Now Fort Collins, Estes Park, Longmont, Bolder, Golden and North Denver metro has the original Denver FM signal and Denver proper to Momument, Columbine, Castle Rock and north Colorado Springs has the new purchase.. Then the super translator in Colorado Springs tops it off... I like the uplink from that Way (so much), I call it SUPER-WAY.....
