Based on the ratings, when do you think CBS will throw in the towel on WNEW. I'm sure the station operations are costing a fortune. Ratings keep slipping.

^^^^It'll probably be around the same time that CBS realizes that current rhythmic incarnation of WPGC isn't going to be as profitable as it was a full-service urban-leaning rhythmic station. I'm perpetually disappointed with WPGC and would rather listen to some other station before listening to it most of the time. CBS Radio Washington is a ship without a captain and Jay Stevens ought to be brought back to run things.

Who knows what will happen with WNEW they appear to be hanging on a little while longer with the format. As far as WPGC goes they appear to be satisfied with were it is a 18-34 demo station. And PD Jason Kidd appears to have a new contract in hand been there 2 years(usually 2 yr contracts are giving). The station every year is the number 2 biller for CBS DC it really is the least of there problems and despite what its ratings are it keeps billing well. Urban radio across the board really is not in a good place IMO but it is what it is. And Kila you know that Jay Stevens is not coming back he has a better job now.
