Warner Wolf exits the Imus Show

Booted at the request of Imus apparently:

It should have been the other way around, IMO.

I occasionally tune in that train wreck to see what's happening and, amid all the unfunny bits and gratuitous laughter, Warner always comes through as a warm, sincere, professional and genuine broadcaster. It's rumored that Sid Rosenberg will replace Warner on Imus' show. Then WABC should pair Warner with Bernie McGuirk.

"McGuirk & Wolf" could be a good listen.

+1. The Imus show is carried where I live and I might give it a go for 15 minutes every couple of weeks. I like your phrase, "gratuitous laughter". Well done.
