WALK 1370 AM In Patchogue To Radio Cantico

Owner Connoisseur Media is "donating" the Long Island station, which has been simulcasting WHLI 1100 AM, to Radio Cantico. According to the article in RadioInsight, the religious broadcaster will only pay for the real estate occupied by WALK AM. The sum is $500,000. Part of the deal is the construction permit for an FM translator for the AM, in Patchogue. Perhaps this is an indication that Connoisseur also wants to sell WHLI AM?
The article states that Radio Cantico already owns two stations on Long Island, while also leasing time on WNYH. In addition, they are planning to acquire WTHE 1520 AM, licensed to Mineola.

So now what's going to happen with 1580 in Patchogue? They've been airing Radio Cantico Nuevo for the past several months after swapping calls and formats with 1440 in Medford, which is now the parent station for 93.3 The Breeze?

It seems odd that Radio Cantico leases out 1440 AM and the 93.3 and 106.9 translators for The Breeze, while they in turn broadcast on WNYH 740 AM, under lease from another owner.
I wonder whether Radio Cantico intends to build the WALK AM translator, and then lease out the two. Ditto for WTHE 1520 AM.
Radio Cantico seems to be trying to become a player in local radio, at least with small signals.

If you don't like Joy's videos, you don't have to keep viewing them. You're not the board moderator, that you should be telling others what they can or cannot post.

WE are hardly making fun of you.... just saying the videos are pointless, add nothing and youve been asked to not do them anymore

If it bothers you, then take it up with the moderators. That's their job...plus it's a much more civil way to handle things that you believe are not in keeping with forum guidelines. If it personally bothers you, but it not a matter for moderator intervention, you could always send a message to the person directly or simply ignore the posts. Publicly flogging someone is not usually a good answer.
