I wanted to see what you guys thought of the Voodoo 104 format that the station coins as "Retro, Rock & Dance". Do you think this station has legs? Well, at least the name of the station is new and different....

I just discovered this station on iHeart Radio, and I must say, I like the mix of genre's, but kinda feel that this format is very close to the "Jack" or "Playing What We Want" formats.

However, I definitely think the station is lacking in the "Dance" portion of their format. I think the station owners definition of a Dance track is different from mine, so that may be the issue for me here. And the Dance tracks that they do play, I feel can be placed into the "Retro" portion as well, since most of the Dance leaning songs I've heard on the station so far were dated.

Check it out if you haven't already, and let me know what you think...

I heard the station numerous times on occasion, but they sound more like a KTU-type Adult Top 40. However, I do miss WDVW ("Diva 92.3"), whose presentation sounded better than KVDU's.
