A good friend and fellow engineer, Vic Hamrick of CSN, died from injuries he received in a house fire, on Saturday.
He had just returned home from vacation, and was trapped inside his house in Claymont, Delaware, when it caught fire around noon Friday.
He was a native of West Virginia, an Air Force veteran, and worked at Bonneville Communications and KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, then was an engineer at QVC 1990-1997), and (for 15 years) an engineer for CSN.
I thought some of you might know him, being in the broadcast community.
