I'm not sure anyone has heard about this, as I cannot find another thread about it on here, but Verizon FiOS has removed both WUNI and WUTF from its lineup. And not only that, but also all of its subchannels. Do you think this is permanent?
Comcast has direct competition in my town....from TDS Telecom.....they provide IPTV service plus phone and internet (up to 1GB, which I have....!!).
TDS is ALL fiber optic to the premises.....then RJ-11j to the phone(s) and CAT6 (for Gigabit Ethernet).
Seems Comcast MIGHT have Gigabit "in the works"....but I haven't even bothered to check how much $$ it'd set me back!!
