I thought the commercial break on my Dial Global station seemed very long this morning.
In fact, the next song started in the middle with no station ID.
I was going to blame the election, but one commercial, probably national, kept airing over and over. I think it was the first one in each break. The announcer said this deal was only for listeners of "this station". I would have thought they could replace national commercials with lcoal ones if necessary. I do know they didn't play a song during the last optional break today.
On the subject of the election, I think it's their usual practice to devote the evening to election results.
