11:35AM *****Matt Sittel in Omaha NE logs my local 100.9 KARY 'Cherry FM' in Yakima!***** I sit at Reecer Creek Rd right as it turns into NF-3500 to go to Lion Rock, approx. 13 mi N of Ellensburg. Nothing but tropo scatter, including 410 watt KITI-95.1 Winlock WA 'sounding' like Es. I do hear weak Es signals on 93.1 and 95.5 that are likely blocked by the nearby Colockum ridges. I decide to QRT after 5 or 10 minutes and head south and then east. It worked.
11:42AM (approx) - 95.1 KTTI Yuma, AZ; no wonder I wasn't getting anything because of the few stations in this town. RDS 'KTTI' and later heard an ID. Relog, 50KW at 1041 miles.

Went driving again, found one more spot close to home, No. 6 Rd and Vantage Hwy where the trail jct. is for the John Wayne trail. Parked here as KEZO was coming back in around 12:30.
