The Vibe is Back! Dance / EDM on 99.7

Is it just me or is this the most mysterious radio station in history? Where are highway radio’s studios? Do they have on air staff? Do/did they get good ratings? None of this, including the format change makes any sense.

The stations are not competing for ratings as they are intended to serve travelers to and from Las Vegas.

They have been around for decades, and a few years ago were sold to career broadcaster Richard Heftel, son of major owner and congressman Cecil Heftel whose radio career goes back to the 60’s and stations like KGEM in Boise and KIMN in Denver.

Does this mean KRXV and KHWY are also airing the EDM simulcast? It only mentions the 99.7 frequency.

Guess they’re splitting up the simulcasts and letting 99.7 concentrate on Las Vegas.

So is the (Semi-former) Highway Vibe (Hot AC) KRXV 98.1 in Barstow now / still a separate standalone station with a separate web stream or separate website? If so can't find it.

Vibe 99.7 has the stream and should be simulcasting on 98.9 (KHWY) in Laughlin / Bullhead City as well.

The website list 98.1/98.9 as Hot AC but the stream is nowhere to be found, nor any mention of current information. 99.7 is listed as Dance and the website has the streaming link.
