Changes at iHeartMedia’s Tulsa cluster include the launch of “Patriot 1300 AM Real Talk” KAKC. The station was previously one of two “Buzz”-branded sports stations the company operated in the market. The other, KTBZ, dropped the moniker in August. And with the loss of Fox Sports Radio programming to Griffin Communications “1170 The Blitz” KFAQ, which launched Sept. 17, KTBZ is now simulcasting the “94.7 The Ref” KREF Oklahoma City.
“Patriot 1300 AM Real Talk” will carry a mostly syndicated lineup including Glenn Beck, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, Lee Mathews and Charlie Kirk, along with a simulcast of Lee Michaels’ KTOK Oklahoma City-based program in late afternoons.
