i have a good sourse that 107.1 coming back on july 26th
Yes. They're going back to their Spanish Rock roots and rebranding themselves as SUPER ESTRELLA RETRO. At least that's what the promo makes it seem like.
Entravision is very happy with the current format on 107.1 and has it in place on around 20 stations in the Southwest.
What about 103.1? They were there too.
it be on 103.1 siginal thursday july 26th just go to faceboom super estella for the logo looks like indie 1031 logo
Wonder if Entravision would ever consider bringing back Indie :/
over the weekend on facebook they have dropped retro slogan and revised logo and new logo today
First hour's up. It definitely sounds like the old school Super Estrella that made them famous. The promos leading to the launch were very rock en español heavy, yet, they played some pop songs.
Hour 1
1.- Cafe Tacuva - Volver A Comenzar
2.- Mana - Rayando El Sol
--- Commercials ---
3.- La Ley - Dia Cero
4.- Julieta Venegas - Algo Esta Cambiando
5.- Duncan Dhu - En Algun Lugar
6.- Kabah - La Calle De Las Sirenas
7.- Nacha Pop - Lucha de Gigantes
8.- Aleks Syntek & Ana Torronja - Duele El Amor
9.- Aterciopelados - Baracunatana
--- Commercials ---
10.- Monica Naranjo - El Amor Coloca
11.- Elefante - Asi Es La Vida
It sounds like they believe that there is a parallel opportunity for the same "kind" of format as KRTH, but in Spanish, and with the pop hits of the 80's and some 90's.
