Wow, only one channel in Spanish? With San Diego adjacent to Mexico, this cable system airs no Mexican channels other than XETV 6, which broadcasts in English. Channel 18 is SIN (the forerunner to Univision) and KSCI Los Angeles. In those days, when no local station was affiliated with SIN, a cable system could just carry the network feed. But Spanish-speaking cable viewers in San Diego had only one channel for their language? Channel 12 XEWT from Tijuana could easily be picked up in San Diego. Maybe a couple of UHF Tijuana channels should be on this line-up too.

I can understand this cable system pulling in three of Los Angeles' four VHF independent stations, KTLA 5, KTTV 11 and KCOP 13. I wonder why it didn't carry KHJ-TV 9? And why bother carrying KNBC when San Diego has its own NBC affiliate? The other network O&Os in LA are not on this system.
