Scott Slade Nominated for National Radio Hall of Fame

WSB radio's Scott Slade has been nominated for induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame.

He has worked at WSB since 1984 and been host of "Atlanta's Morning News" since 1991.

Congratulations, Scott.

I've always been curious...is "our" Scott Slade the same Scott Slade who was part of Stan and Sis Kaplan's 99 WAYS in Charlotte back in the 70s/80s?

I can answer that, Mr Wavo. Yes, and he was also PD of WAYS. Somewhere on line is an aircheck of Scott as a jock on WAYS.

It wasn't 99; it was 610AM. Today's WAYS (FM) is 99.1 in Macon.

Thanks, Roddy!

Is there still a 99 WAYS in Macon? Seems like they flipped frequencies many moons back. Isn't the frequency now country formatted?
