Nov. 15 - KRON/ch. 4 (NBC) signs on.

June 24 - KWBB/ch. 38 changes its call to KCNS (Asian independent).
Aug. 31 - KQEC/ch. 32 changes its call to KMTP.

Jan 11. - KOFY/ch. 20 becomes a WB affiliate.
Jan. 16 - KBHK/ch. 44 becomes a UPN affiliate.

1996
Sept. 20 - KFCB/ch. 42 changes its call to KTNC.

Aug. 31 - KKPX becomes a Pax TV (renamed Ion Television July 1, 2005)
Sept. 14 - KOFY/ch, 20 changes its call to KBWB.

July 3 - KNTV/ch. 11 switches from ABC to The WB.

2001
Date unknown - KTNC/ch. 42 become an Azteca America (Spanish) affiliate.
Dec. 31 - KNTV/ch. 11 switches from The WB to NBC.

Jan. 1 - KRON/ch. 4 reverts to independent.

2006
July 1 - KBHK/ch. 44 changes its call to KBCW.
Sept. 5 - KRON/ch. 4 become a My NetworkTV affiliate.
Sept. 18 - KBCW/ch. 44 becomes a CW affiliate as KBWB/ch. 20 reverts to independent.

2007
June 30 - KTNC/ch. 42 ends its affilation with Azteca America and becomes a TuVision affilate the day after.

2008
Oct. 8 - KBWB/ch. 20 reverts to its KOFY call.

2009
Sept. 14 - KTNC/ch. 42 becomes a TV Estrella affilate.

2011
July 28 - KFTY/ch. 50 changes its call to KEMO.
Sept. 29 - KEMO/ch. 50 becomes an Azteca Amercica affiliate.

2016
Dec. 31 - KTNC/ch. 42 reverts to an English-language religious independent.

2018
Fall - KEMO/ch. 50 relocates studio from Santa Rosa to Emeryville and licence to Fremont
 
I should've said on January 1, 2002, KRON/ch. 4 ended its NBC affiliation and became independent.
