Interesting that "Guiding Light" is missing from WCSC's
lineup; it had moved from NBC to CBS the year before,
and aired at 1:45 PM. (It would continue on CBS into
the television era, ending, as we all know, in September
2009--AFAIK, WCSC-TV5 carried the television version
from sign-on in 1953 to the end). Also, "Aunt Jenny's True-Life
Stories" (12:15 PM) is pre-empted on WCSC; that show
lasted nearly 20 years on CBS (1937-56).
