For my next clue for you all, I was going to use "the walrus was Paul"
"Oh my God, they're turkeys!" since it was exclaimed at the disaster site,
but yours is of course the classic line from the episode. :)
 
...okeh, got it now. Did CBS actually run a Thanksgiving-themed episode of that show prior to Halloween in the '70s??...

10-4. The first run of the 'KRP "Turkeys Away" episode was on Monday,
October 30, 1978 at 8/7 Central Time...here on CBS (cue station break).

And the Big Guy did hear dogs barking. ;D
