Ratins

Wel lthe Fall numbers are out for Charleston and don't think there were any great surprises. WQBE remains the top station, WFAF gains with Christmas music, WKLC continues to win the Rock battle, and WVSR continues to be the CHR in the market. Am sure WV radio is not proud of WKAK's numbers, they tried to take on the rock market and dumped their less than spectacular Oldies format and have made no inroads to date. Lynn Martin's MIX station had a huge wake up call from the 7 share they had in the Spring. Am sure they knew they never deserved a 7 share and feel they are lucky to have a 4.4 in this book. The Classic Hits format in this market could work if somebody programmed it to sound like a classic hits station. The market over all is stale and basically the same ole same ole from year to year.
