Question about NBC Red

Kurt Toy said:
When did NBC drop the "Red" name from its radio network?

Thanks to the FCC and the courts, the NBC Blue network was first spun off as a separate corporate entity (Blue Network, Inc.), but still owned by RCA, in January 1942. It was sold to Edward Noble a year later. It became ABC in 1945.

NBC Red became just NBC when Blue was spun off.
