Upon hearing Don Paul, former VP of programming at Great Empire died over the weekend, I started looking at old GEB stations. I found mention of Keith Greer as music director of KROK 94.5 in the early 80’s. Growing up in Texas and Oklahoma, I remember Keith “The Animal” Greer doing nights on KMYZ “Z-104.5” in Tulsa. In-between Tulsa and Shreveport, he would appear to have worked at WMEE in Ft. Wayne, and he left KMYZ in either late ‘89 or ‘90 to do afternoons at KTUX 98.9. Looks like he left that position in either ‘93 or ‘94 not long after KTUX repositioned itself as “Tux 99 Rocks.” After that, he seems to have just disappeared. Anyone know where he went or what happened to him?
