Now that the town's big story is over... About Mega-Philadelphia.

I believe VM owns competitor La Kalle 99.9 (1340 WHAT).

I don't know if adding 1310/105.7 would benefit any. The signals, while not identical, cover the same general area, so not a whole heck of a lot would be gained.

It WOULD allow VM to take the Mega name in Philly though, as they do well with it in Allentown, Reading, and Lancaster/York/Harrisburg
 
Different owner covering a different area. Doubt there would be change there.
You know what, I'm going to correct myself here.

I didn't realize that weekdays, WWAC-AM is airing WEMG programming. I'd assume if WEMG went away, they'd either program that in house or just move their "Gold" programming to the weekdays too
