Novelty Tunes

Great List.

"In the Middle of the House" was originally done by Vaughn Monroe. My favorite version of it is on a rare 50's 45 by Peter Marshall(Hollywood Squares) and Tommy Noonan.

Also,

Frankensteiner Polka-Eddie Lawrence

Leava My Gal Alone and 45 Men in a Telephone Booth- Four Tophatters

Sunday Driving-Jerry Lewis

I Second That Emotion - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
(just because of the way the title came into being)

Snoopy vs. The Red Baron - The Royal Guardsmen

Oh wait, this is a repeat. No prob, it's still a novelty. ;D

Stewball...Peter, Paul, & Mary

"Stewball" was a novelty tune?? Seems like one of the saddest songs I ever heard; maybe I have it confused with another PP&M tune.
