The FCC is plodding through the groups. The oldest MX still to go through at the moment dates back to 1990. As posted, the Commission is going through the easy ones first, those that win on stating that they are first or second non-commercial service, or are going to bring first or second service to more listeners than the other applicants. They promised to go chronilogically, so yours should be later in the pack then those from 90 through early 1999, as the cutoff date of the lead application of your MX group was May 10, 1999. Accoording to the FCC, your MX group included these stations:
980815 05/10/99 A BPED 19980817MZ LEBANON IN HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP OF INDI
This was the lead applicant. However, as of 12/23/2005, it was granted a CP for 91.5 MHz. 130 watt, V only, directional, and thus drops out of the MX group. That now leaves three applicants in the pool.
980815 BPED 19990506MH LEBANON IN BROADCASTING FOR THE CHALLENGED, INC
This application has been dismissed per the applicants request.
980815 BPED 19980918MG ZIONSVILLE IN KIDS FIRST INCORPORATED
980815 BPED 19990420MB LEBANON IN HOOISER BROADCASTING CORPORATION
These two applicants are local to the state. Hoosier owns many stations and has pending applications, the other applicant has only this application. At least according to the database, both of these applicants failed to file the mandated January 2005 required electronic supplement.
980815 BPED 19990510MG JAMESTOWN IN MARY V. HARRIS FOUNDATION
This applicant has many applications pending and stations licensed. It did file the required January 2005 supplement.
So, if the supplements were not filed, the Commission could dismiss based on this procedureal issue. There is also the question of what this does to the points process, with two applicants dropping out. And of course, don't forget the appeal process, that could drag out the whole thing.
