More Public Radio Consolidation In Delmarva

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/189619/more-public-radio-consolidation-in-delmarva/

Changes will happen on July 1st.

Salisbury University and University of Maryland Eastern Shore are combining their three stations into one public radio operation starting on July 1.

To be operated as “Delmarva Public Media“, the move will see some programming adjustments. 89.5 WSCL Salisbury will flip to all-Classical dropping its airings of NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered. 91.3 WESM Princess Anne will continue to air those programs around its Jazz and Blues music programming. 90.7 WSDL Ocean City will begin simulcasting WESM’s locally hosted Jazz programming blocks weekdays, while retaining its mix of folk and R&B programs on weekends.

Makes sense, there was definitely ME/ATC overkill during those hours in Delmarva. I guess WSDL's AAA programming wasn't working, I wonder if WOCM was a factor in that? For a commercial AAA station it is pretty eccentric.
