WARNING: These may appear to be stupid questions.

What is the best and most simple way to achieve more bottom end in CRL's Millennium box? I'm a PD at a cluster and we're looking to enhance our CHR. We seem to have a clean sound but not a lot of bottom end. Is this done in the EQ settings? Is it possible with the Millennium? And perhaps the dumbest question, what's the difference betwen bass gain and bass frequency?

Not stupid questions, you jyst don't have a lot of experience.

Bass gain is the AMOUNT of bass you'll be adding (usually calibrated in db's).

Bass frequency refers to the frequency at which that boost will occur.

The best way to feel where you want the frequency control is to jack the gain control WAY WAY up, and then sweep the frequency control until you like the "kind" of bass you're getting. Then reduce to gain control until you get the amount you're looking for.

Remember to try very small increments, one or two db at a time and sit on it. Be conservative, don't try to blow an Omnia away (on bass anyway), and you'll probably do great.
