Longtime morning and noon anchor Michelle Millman has left KIRO after more than 28 years. From a patreon post on FTVlive, (it’s behind a paywall so not sure if the link would work) departure was sudden and no reason was given other to say she was no longer at the station. Its believed she’s crossing the street to KCPQ where a couple of former KIRO staffers went. Meteorologist Claire Anderson who worked at KIRO for a few years before departing to DC and returning earlier this year to KCPQ, as well as reporter Lauren Donovan. If I’m not mistaken I believe morning anchor Erin Mayovsky worked at KIRO at one point in her career. If Michelle is indeed going to KCPQ I can see her joining David Rose as evening co-anchor.
