Marian Davey today was appointed senior vice president and general manager of the Fox-owned duopoly in Minneapolis — KMSP (Fox) and WFTC (MNT). She succeeds Sheila Oliver, who was named SVP-GM of Fox’s Seattle duopoly KCPQ-KZJO last month.
Jack Abernethy, chief executive officer of Fox Television Stations, wo whom Davey reports, said: “Mim has done a stellar job in leading the KMSP-Fox 9 news team for the past eight years. Her past success and understanding of the market, coupled with her local news expertise and results-driven attitude, make her the natural choice to lead our Minneapolis duopolies.”
