Looking for former WXAL - Demopolis colleague

I got my start in broadcasting at WXAL - AM 1400 in Demopolis in 1980. While there, a guy named Johnny Baker mentored me and I've long since lost track of him. Back during that time, he was known on the air variously as Johnny Baker, Johnny B., and Mr. Whoopee. Any information about Johnny would be greatly appreciated.
