Looking for AAA stations between Asheville, NC and Kansas City, KS.,

Hi,

I'm helping a friend in moving from Asheville, NC and Kansas City, KS and would like to have a list of AAA stations to listen to on the way. My route will take me through Knoxville, TN, Nashville, TN, Evansville, IN, St. Louis, and Springfield, MO.

The only station that I can think of off the top of my head is WRLT/Nashville. Any others?

Thanks,
Robyn

Once that person gets here, KTBG 90.9 is the non-commercial AAA in the area. Reception will be spotty on the Kansas side. We have KCKC "Alice 102" as well, which is much more mainstream, and not as focused on new music.

Are you definitely going all the way down to Springfield, and not through Columbia, Mo.? If you drive through Columbia, you'll have 102.3 KBXR. St. Louis has 88.1 KDHX, though that's more of a block-programmed station ranging from Americana to hip-hop.

Yes, I will be stopping in Springfield since my friend's mother lives there and she had planned to drop off some items. Of course the exact route has not been determined yet.

Thanks for the info.

Robyn
