Listen to KFXM 96.7 to hear 50's-70's not heard for quite awhile-- Good Stuff!

Spider & The Fly/Mick Jagger & the Rolling Stones; Down By The Station/4 Preps; White Bird/It's A Beautiful Day --- Just a sample blend of Oldies that sound great. I listen to KFXM on line (computer) and thru my Android (phone app) MEDIA-U. The website says they will have live DJs in the future... Right now it is back-to-back oldies with KFXM jingles and one liners such as, "This is where all the big kids hang out". Give it a listen if you want to hear a huge playlist. They say they take requests too.

Do you make money or are you 1 of 10,000 hobbyist radio geeks?

Well, they list a frequency, and their facebook page says "Our station license was recently renewed by the F.C.C. The road is wide open for continuing the great oldies, 24/7 on KFXM!" so whether or not they make any money, they're something more than hobbyists.

It's a 100 watt LPFM in the Lancaster / Palmdale area of LA County. It can't make money as it can´t sell advertising. High marks for making it through a whole license term!

The call letters belonged to a legendary 1960s-70s top-40 station in San Bernardino. KFXM was known as "Tiger 590." I have no idea why it wasn't known as "Fox," which would have made more sense. Anyway, there's a tribute to KFXM and rival KMEN at Blogspot:
