There was only 1 winning bidder in the auction from any of the 10 DMAs serving Mississippi counties.

It was Class A LPTV religious station WWTW 34 Senatobia, MS, located in the Memphis DMA. It agreed to go off the air for $485,661.00.

I accidentally left these two changes off the Mobile, AL list above:

WDES-CD from 35 to 22
WFBD from 48 to 29

I have a question for someone with a digital engineering background. In the analog days, you could not put two TV stations on two adjacent channels (except for 4 & 5, and 6 & 7, which are not actually adjacent). I see where, after the repacking, some Mobile area stations end up adjacent to each other... for example WFGX on 14, WPMI on 15 ... and WHBR on 34 with WJTC on 35 ... and WEAR on 17, WMPV on 18. Obviously co-located digital TV stations can be adjacent to each other ... correct?

yes
as long as the towers are within (I want to say) 15 miles apart then you can have adjacent stations
Minneapolis has had a few of them since the DTV transition

22 (WUCW CW) and 23 (KTCI PBS)
31 (Daystar LP), 32 (WCCO CBS), 33 (3ABN LP), 34 (KTCA PBS), 35 (KSTP ABC)
16 (EWTN LP) and 17 (WUMN Univision)

Come 2019 you can put 30 KSTC Independent in that bunch (moving from 45)
