KLAA has been off the air for over 13 hours (as of 7:34 a.m. PDT). Apparently, two street racers crashed into a number of power poles, which knocked out power in the area where their transmitter is located. Their online stream is up and running, however. Why don't they have a back-up generator at their transmitter site?

This must have been one hell of an accident. Power is STILL out over 14 hours later! I haven't been able to find out anything in the OC Register nor the Press-Enterprise about this incident. SCE has not given an ETA for resolution as of yet. I shudder to think what may have happened to the occupants of those vehicles involved.

Was power restored last night in time for the Angels game or was it still online only?
KLAA was back on air in time for the Sports Lodge. Angels game ran AOK on their flagship station of AM 830.
