Here's how it's explained on the KJUL website:
Dear KJUL Listener,
Beasley Broadcast Group sincerely regrets the necessity to change the music programming on 104.3 KJUL-FM.
We are aware of how much the "Great Music' format has meant to listeners like you throughout Las Vegas and Southern Nevada over the last 10 years.
Unfortunately, recent shifts in the demographic characteristics in the Las Vegas market caused KJUL's audience levels to decline. Please know that the decision to change the programming was not made lightly.
We thank you for your past loyal support and we hope that you will sample our new Country Music format. Country music has been called "America's Music" and is enjoying great popularity among adult listeners throughout the United States.
