KIIS having some fun: **SIIK FM**

An airchecker on YouTube caught this little gem:

KIIS FM is goofing around for (I'm assuming) Halloween and is branding itself as SIIK FM (sick fm). As you know, sick is young-people slang for something that is cool, unique, or crazy. Not to mention, Halloween is about death and ghosts -- hence, being sick. I suppose the logo with a little bit of blood dripping from it indicates the latter.

I'm the last person who is going to be politically correct, but if I was a new station general manager at KIIS, I would never let this go through as it a bit of an appropriation and mockery of the East Indian Sikh name and their culture/religion. Americans can be so lame and obtuse in these issues on respect to other cultures and their traditions.
