Actually, I doubt whether Keillor even knew about the matter until after the fact.

Keillor's IP attorney was doing his job, protecting Keillor's trademark on "A Prairie Home Companion". Remember, unlike copyrights, trademarks must be actively defended, or they can be lost. Had this infringer not received a C&D letter, the next infringer might have been able to point to the lack of a C&D in this case to defend his own infringement.

Harry Shearer (on his "Le Show") did a fun (and unusually long!) parody of Keillor's "News From Lake Wobegon" based on this story, though... News from Lake Reverie: The Lawsuit (Real Audio).<P ID="signature">______________
