Intro and bumper music

How much do national shows pay for the use of hit songs as introductory music? Example: "The Ramsey Show" uses the instrumental saxophone solo part from "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty, with that saxophone solo done by Raphael Ravenscroft), (1978).... and uses "Money" by Pink Floyd (1973) as bumper music or ending of segment music.

What about local commercial radio shows? There's one on (M-F) from 9:05 a,m, to 11:45 a,m, show in my marketc that uses lots of different music as bumper music.

What about talk shows on non-commercial stations? Any differences between collegiate radio stations and national non-comm shows?
